Photography Tours & Expeditions
Several times each year, I offer photographers to join me on special photography expeditions. Unlike traditional photography workshops, my expeditions are to more extreme locations with a focus on unhindered wilderness and authentic travel experiences. These are trips to unexplored locations that are rarely photographed and you can expect us to be the only ones there. Many of these photography expeditions involve camping, few luxuries and are a no-frills experience, suited for those looking for true adventure.
Each photography workshop or expedition is focused on getting you the absolute best photos possible. I spend several months every year scouting new locations on multiple continents and finding the most remarkable locations on Earth. If you join one of my photography expeditions, you are guaranteed to come home with unique photographs no one else has.
I have spent more than a decade guiding people across extreme environments and am passionate about sharing genuine adventure and travel with others. Through these expeditions, I help facilitate authentic travel experiences that you will never forget.
Included in every photography expedition is an extensive post processing session where I will edit photos we took on that workshop. I will cover a variety of unique techniques in Adobe Photoshop & Lightroom. There is no holding back, I will let everyone know my entire photo editing process from start to finish. Every post processing session will be recorded and sent out after the workshop.
Future expeditions include: Jungle Slot Canyons in Costa Rica, Danakil Depression in Ethiopia, Obscure Arches in Chad, Stars under the Algerian Sahara, Camping Across Saudi Arabia and Dog Mushing into Gates of the Arctic in Alaska.

Q: How much do your photography expeditions cost?
A: Most photography expeditions start at around $3500 per week, excluding flights.
Q: How big are the groups on your photography expeditions?
A: The maximum group size for any expedition is 5 people. This ensures not only does everyone get the maximum attention possible, but that everyone can get the best angles without worrying about getting in each other’s way.
Q: How physically difficult are these expeditions?
A: The physical demands of each photo expedition is different. Because these trips focus on us photographing remote locations, the distances are typically longer than a traditional workshop. On less demanding expeditions, you can expect 3-4 miles of hiking per day.
