The name Pakistan alone elicits many responses, some true, some not. Though often misunderstood, it cannot be understated how stunningly gorgeous Pakistan is. Most of the photos in this gallery are from the southern deserts of Balochistan, an area that has long been off limits to travel, but is just now opening up to foreigners. The desert landscapes and culture here would take years to fully explore, these photos are barely an introduction.
