These images from Sudan are from a trip in 2022, before the civil war started. Sudan may not have the same draw as other North African countries, but it is undoubtably the most rewarding place I’ve ever visited. The people of Sudan are hands down the kindest and friendliest you will ever meet. Between the ancient pyramids, smiling people, and stunning mountains, this corner of Africa is unforgettable. When peace returns, I hope to visit Sudan again.
